Assistant Manager, Warehouse | Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, UAE

In this position you will be reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for managing and controlling all Food & Beverage Items from delivery to distribution. In addition to setting-up all relevant policies and procedures for your area of the Warehouse, you will also be expected to handle all paperwork and documentation relating to Shipping, Receiving and Distribution. You will be tasked with the effective and efficient management and delivery of all Restaurant and Conference Food and Beverage activities within the Ferrari World operation and will therefore also be responsible for compliance with HACCP regulations. This is a management position that will require you to manage and lead a team of Colleagues.

Skills

To be considered for this position should possess at least 3 years working experience with different Food & Beverage Warehouse operations. You should be familiar with space allocation and layout of warehouses and bar-coding techniques. In addition you will have worked with inventory control and stock auditing systems and have firsthand experience of receiving, verifying, location control and issuance of goods to multiple locations. As specialist in the Food & Beverage area you must have knowledge of HACCP regulations and their operational implementation to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. We are seeking a candidate with strong people management skills who will be able to develop and motivate a diverse team. In addition you will need to be a proficient user of the MS Office suite of applications and have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal. To be successful in this position you will be able to handle multiple tasks, work to tight deadlines, be flexible and have the ability to communicate effectively across departmental borders.
