Business Development Executive | Carter Murray Dubai, UAE

The Role

A business development executive position has arisen with an international law firm, located in any of their Middle East offices. The marketing and business development team of this innovative firm currently have a team of 4 people and see the need for a fifth person. The role is predominantly focused on assisting with the RFP/Pitchbooks, which come in currently at about 5 pitches per week.

Requirements

In addition to pitches, this role would assist the partners and business development team with any of the following:

- Collecting experience for submission into the firm wide database

- Updates to materials for use in pitches and other marketing activities – this includes pitch templates, fee earner biographies, and brochures

- Tracking and assisting with large scale conferences and a number of other breakfast type seminars, trainings and social events for the Middle East offices – this includes regional list of events, RSVP information, attendees, and costs.

- Working with the InterAction team to maintain contact lists and entering information on pitches, events and contact info into the system

- Carrying out research for presentations and client targeting

- Regional public relations tasks including tracking press hits and maintaining regional media lists

The successful candidate needs to be someone who has experience producing bespoke pitches within a professional services capacity, ideally within a law firm. The successful BD executive will be a team player, dedicated and committed to being here in Dubai for 2-3 years. This is a real career opportunity for the right candidate.
