Business Development Specialist | AECOM Abu Dhabi, UAE

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Co-ordinates the development of business line marketing and business development collateral with both global and ME business line support.
- Participates in and supports the preparation and delivery of Pre Qualification and Submission (proposal) documents for the business lines.
- Participates in the implementation and on-going support to business lines of corporate marketing and business development initiatives such as the ME Account Management and Strategic Selling programs through the business lines.
- Prepares and submits supplier / vendor registrations for government authorities and other potential clients.
- Manages business line activities related to various marketing and business development databases – CVs, Project Profiles, Opportunities and Submissions for the business line(s).
- Using internal and external data sources, undertakes market and client research, competitor analysis and other analytics in support of global and geography reporting initiatives.
- Contributes to the planning of, and participation in events, conferences, tradeshows and other internal and external programs and activities associated with the business line(s).
- Co-ordinates branding and marketing activities including advertising and promotion, awards, merchandising, sponsorships and other related activities associated with the Business Line(s).
- Provides Business Line(s) update content for the Middle East’s Internet and Intranet web sites as well as other communications media.

Requirements

Qualification
Post secondary training or equivalent in marketing, business development, or related field.

Skills Required:
- Knowledge and experience in proposal and pre-qualification development, support and co-ordination.
- Experience with client management processes and programs.
- Experience with developing marketing / business development collateral.
- Knowledge of MS Office programs.

- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written English.
- Must be a self-starter and possess leadership qualities.
- Able to set priorities and meet critical time deadlines.

Experience
5+ years experience in a similar environment; working for large multinational companies or corporations.
