The Role

The Role

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the communications for the Company. The role will involve the following;

1. Annual PR plans and budgets: Responsible for development and delivery of annual PR plans and budgets;
2. Relationship with PR agencies: Responsible for coordinating and developing relationship with regional and international agencies, with the objective of ensuring maximum coverage of the related projects in the local and international media, in line with brand and project messages plans;
3. Create media content for event related projects such as Exhibitions, Press Conferences and Site Tours;
4. Evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of PR activities undertaken;
5. Manage the negotiation of speaking platforms, speechwriting and Multi-media presentations;
6. Targeted Public Relations: Manage the targeting of key audiences via the media through proactive article and feature placement, press conferences, personal interviews, video news releases;
7. Support internal and external marketing related events by providing logistical, administration and delivery coordination;
8. Direct Communications: Assist with communications via newsletters, direct mail and database campaigns;
9. Research: undertake local market intelligence on opportunities and developments that may impact the interests of the business;
10. Involvement in developing the Corporate identity, positioning and material for the business for related projects and brands;
11. Promotion Coordination: Assist in the coordination of all major promotions for related projects to ensure consistent communication in line with the PR strategy;
12. Sponsorship & Events Plan: Based on the positioning related projects, identify sponsorship and events opportunities and the level of participation/ presence at such events and activities, that best meets publicity needs of the business and targets the audience the project aims to address;

Requirements

The Person

You will need at least 10 years Communications experience with an emphasis on External Comms and people management. Ideally from a recognised organisation or PR agency. It is essential you have a western standard degree and currently live in the GCC. English and Arabic is essential coupled with a knowledge of the GCC.
