The Role
I am currently sourcing an eCommerce Manager on behalf of one of my clients, a leading international hotel operator. The role is to be based in Dubai and covers the Middle East Africa region.

In summary this position will entail the development and implementation of the overall eCommerce strategy for the region, offering substantial opportunities for growth and progression in the role as this business continues to develop in MEA. They are a fantastic brand who are extremely well established, but can also offer the opportunity to influence and contribute toward their overall growth here in the area.

I am interested in hearing from professionals with eCommerce/Online Marketing/Digital Marketing experience. This experience should include some exposure to the working environment and practices in the Middle East, be it having been previously based here OR being currently employed in a position covering EMEA. The ideal candidate will have previously worked for a hotel operator, however I would also be happy to hear from candidates with agency side experience (providing some accounts have been hospitality based clients) or candidates within the tourism, travel or leisure sectors (airlines, destination marketing etc). Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential as this role will involve influencing and interfacing with various executives internally, including property level General Managers and corporate level Executive Committee members.
