Head of Events | Viva Entertainment Dubai

The position would have the overall responsibility for the management of his or her team, the financial health of the team budgets and the maintenance of healthy and profitable client relationships. The key responsible areas would be :
• Understand the company vision and plan and prepare budgets accordingly.
• The overall quality and profitability of the services provided by the team.
• Management and control of revenue budgets set for his/her team or office.
• Capability to attract sponsorship for the major events as well as dealing with media partners.
• Must have good understanding of the events market in the GCC (international exposure would be an added advantage).
• Providing leadership and clear direction to team members.
• New business development amongst existing clients and identification and development of new business opportunities outside the existing client base.
• Should have the wherewithal of developing various verticals within the events domain like live events, anchor, annual property, artist management, exhibitions etc.
• Be a creative wizard in planning and developing events both for revenue generation as well as company branding.
• Adequate knowledge of the primary requirements of an events operation like sound, lights, stage etc.
• Have a sound knowledge of the legal requirements for staging an event, exhibition, promotion programme etc.
• Gain clear understanding of clients requirements.
• Guide the business development team to prepare proposals and negotiate contracts and profiles.
• Be a team player with extraordinary man management skills.
• Contributing to the management of the office and supporting the MD in decisions as needed.

Skills
- Candidates should be Minimum Graduates or MBA/PGDM – with Specialization in Advertising/Mass Communication, International Business, Marketing.
- With 10 – 15 Years experience (Min. 5 years experience in Sr. Management Position in Event Management).
