Media Assets Supervisor | twofour54 Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Responsible for supervising the Ingest, Media Management, and Archiving processes of all Media Assets at twofour54 to the highest industry standards.
• Supervising and training new Media Librarians in the use of core Media Management and Archiving applications
• Reviewing and improving of workflows. Establishing best practice models for moving and tracking media assets within a multiple systems environment.
• Responsible for ensuring that documented Operational procedures are kept up to date and revised as necessary and that these procedures are communicated to staff, both permanent and freelance and adhered to.
• Liaising with the other departments like post production, studio production, broadcast services and engineering to ensure a smooth and efficient content flow between all areas.

Skills
• Deep understanding of file based asset management and archiving systems.
• Knowledge of metadata models, cataloging and indexing standards and procedures.
• Understanding of Post Production, Production, Broadcast and Media Distribution processes.
• Deadline driven, and inspiring and encouraging the team members to meet challenging deadlines
• Comfortable in a high pressure, client driven environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work effectively and reliable as part of the team.
• Aptitude to creative problem solving

Seniority Required
A least 5 years working for a TV station or Facilities House in Media Management and Archive.

Professional Background Required
• Experience of and thorough working knowledge of digital asset management technologies, processes and workflows associated
• Experience in a medium-large size Media organization, Facilities House or television station.
• A thorough understanding of archive trends and technologies.
