Media Centre Managing Director | Dubai

A new Media production hub based in the UAE is seeking a Managing Director to take the lead of overseeing and managing the development of the organisation. The centre will provide a cohesive infrastructure for content creation companies in the film, broadcast, publishing & music industries. Your role will be to strategically oversee and manage the oraganisations growth and day-to-day operations.

Duties include:
• Managing all departments and staff.
• Identifying opportunities for acquisitions and inclusion of media production companies in the region.
• Devise the brand architecture and strategy of the organisation and oversee its implementation and subsequent management through a variety of channels
• Head up the Communications and PR function to communicate the message of the organisations operations and raise the profile across the region and internationally, assigning projects to staff and where needed secure agency support.
• Build relationships with key government authorities and institutions
• Identify opportunities for collaboration with other organisations and clients.
• Overall responsibility for P&L reporting
• Oversee the development of business systems and processes.

Requirements
• You will be based in the region and have extensive management experience within the creative production and broadcast industries.
• You will be fluent in Arabic and ideally an Arab National with extensive contacts in the industry.
• You will have ideally worked in house for a TV/Radio Channel combined with a top management position within a branding communications/marketing services agency.
