Public Relations Associate Director or Director Required for Global Co.

Fleishman-Hillard, one of the world’s leading communications firms, has an opportunity for a PR Account Director interested in supporting the expansion of our operations in the UAE. Our practitioners advise on all aspects of corporate reputation and offer dedicated expertise in media relations and strategy, crisis communications, issues management, and media training.

This pivotal role will involve working on local and global accounts in a fast-paced environment with collaborative teams to assist a range of blue chip and government clients with their external public relations and communications activities. Supporting new business development activities in the region will also be a large requirement of the role. Applicants should have a strong background in PR and a creative and professional approach to client relations. An understanding of digital communications and previous experience of online social networks, marketing, media relations, and/or grassroots outreach is desirable. Candidates should be flexible for regional and international business travel and be available to commute between Dubai and Abu Dhabi as required.

Requirements
Key skills required for the roles are:
• Strong internal and external communications skills
• Previous PR agency or in house experience
• Strong presentation and writing skills in English and preferably in Arabic
• Solid account management skills with a proven finesse in managing clients and developing relationships
• Strong understanding of regional media
• Ability to lead and work in a team with proven success working across geographies/cultures/languages
• Ability to manage highly confidential client information
• A clear analytical thinker particularly under pressure
• Ability to provide strategic counsel to clients
• Expert financial management and planning experience
• Can build trust among key client stakeholders
• Event organisation experience
