PR Officer | Manama, Bahrain

International Investment Bank looking to take on a Senior PR candidate with 7 years experience minimum, someone who has strong experience in media relations, media campaigns, strategy, press releases.

• In principal role is to manage/protect Client’s image and reputation with key internal/external stakeholders including local/international media, local communities partners/ Non profit organizations, clients and Client staff.
Requirements
• Carry out a Country PR plan agreed upon with the CCO and Regional PAO Including (but not limited to):

o Press interviews
o New Products/services/appointments press releases
o Align Client Foundation partnerships to business objectives
o Joint press conferences/release with community partners
o Intranet Website or internal staff newsletter (if applicable)
o Customer Communication Plans (topic-specific)
o Conference Participations

• Degree in either banking/communication/marketing/journalism
• Strong communication bi-lingual skills (ArabicEnglish), written/spoken
• Good knowledge of banking terms, products, services, issues
• Good knowledge of advertising/PR community
• Good relations with local media, including web portals
• Good administrative skills, including typing in both languages
• Good work attitude
• High personal integrity
• Mature, professional, focused, and disciplined
• Able to work under pressure and to handle multiple tasks
• People person: happy to work with a team
