Goals/Mission

- To manage large projects for and drive business development of Siemens LLC Large drives division across the Middle East region

Working Partners/Contacts

- Internal: Siemens Project Managers; Sales Force / Business Development Managers; Siemens Regional Offices

- External: End Customers, Contractors; Channel Partners; OEM

Tasks

Full responsibility for Siemens Large Drives sales through direct customer accounts for Project and Systems Business

- Managing the bidding process for Siemens Large Drives projects

- Analyzing customer requirements and determining technical feasibility

- Project categorization, planning and milestone definition

- Providing regular project updates to the customer

- Designing project risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies

- Working with Siemens legal team to assess potential claims on the project

- Managing and delivering all Siemens Large Drives projects within budget and to agreed timescales

- Ensuring that all Siemens Large Drives projects are compliant

- Selecting partners / contractors according to defined criteria, and monitoring their performance thereafter

- Managing, coaching, mentoring and motivating project managers and project teams

- Maintaining and presenting accurate and timely project reports

- Conducting project closure activities and workshops
