RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- To brainstorm new ideas and new content for existing productions
- To review and present new program concepts / formats
- To review on-going programs and hold regular meetings with staff to brainstorm new ideas for content and ensure improvements are implemented
- To document results of all team meetings and provide feedback and expectations to directors
- To identify regional trends and genres in TV programming
- To understand and evaluate competition in the region and provide regular briefs on competitive programs and update team about this regularly
- To maintain a competitive edge in the implementation of ideas, improvements and additions
- Quality control the content of the assigned production projects and monitor the programs material in terms of boldness and appropriateness to the channel audience and sponsors
- To participate in or supervise script writing, research as required by the programs
- Develop training plans to increase and improve staff working performance, specifically in the areas of creative thinking and writing skills

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ABOVE POSITION
- Experience in Media and TV production
- Experience in developing ideas and content assessment in reference to MBC’s targeted audience trends and competition
- Experience in writing scripts, leading research teams and in general production skills
- Writing scripts for television
- Script filtering skills
- Journalism
- Investigative Journalism
- Storyboarding skills
- English & Arabic Proficiency
