The Role

Senior Engineer – Civil / Structural for Oman

Execute civil/structural front end and detailed design input to engineering projects. Execute technical support studies as requested. Provide engineering support to the construction / commissioning phases as necessary. Provide engineering support to maintenance and operations as requested.
He/she shall report to civil/structural discipline head.

Qualifications:
A degree in Civil Engineering (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Eng.) is required. Applicants must have membership of an internationally accepted applicable professional Institute

Experience:
There is a minimum requirement of 12 years oil & gas engineering experience (of which 5 years upstream).
Experience shall encompass design of large oil and gas facilities, involving heavy rotating/static equipment, foundations, facilities, buildings, support structures using computerised tools such as STAAD or equivalent. Fully conversant with relevant international standards. Experience with Company and/or Shell Group projects and standards (SPs and DEPs) as well as field experience in construction & commissioning is strongly preferred.

General:
Fluent spoken and written English.
PC literate.
