Senior Sales Officer | Alghanim Industries, Kuwait

Key Accountabilities
* Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Present and sell company products and services to customers.
* Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts;
* Close sales and achieve sales targets;
* Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock;
* Assist staff to resolve customer concerns and problems;
* Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales;
* Establish and maintain current customer and potential customer relationship;
* Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews;
* Responsible for staff scheduling to include: employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks and back up for absent employee;
* Schedule a daily morning staff briefing;
* Communicate with other Supervisors, Section Heads and Managers;
* Highlight all sales promotions, credit facilities, and other activities to the customers;
* Build excellent working relationships with customers;
* Ensure that the department operates in a professional manner, and achieves all key targets set by the Sales Supervisor;
* Assist the Sales Supervisor, in running promotions organizing events whilst optimize product offering;
* Feedback on the category and any suggested improvements for the next promotion;
* Following all reasonable instructions as requested by the management;
* Keeping all company information, including sales figures, strictly confidential;
* Following all company safety and security procedures;
* Representing the company in the best way possible at all times, whether on or off duty;
* Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required
* Strong technical knowledge of relevant product category;
* Background experience in a similar trade environment (Furniture);
* Good leadership Skills and communication skills;
* Astute commercial awareness, the drive to succeed and the ability to motivate the team;
* Knowledge of Arabic and English preferred;
* Computer Literacy;
* Valid driving license;
* Car availability;
* Transferable visa 18.
