The Senior Women’s Editor will take responsibility for one of the fastest growing and most important platforms and channels, delivering highly engaging content to women across the Middle East.

The Senior Editor will be expected to have a history of putting together compelling and entertaining women’s content, understand the market and what makes it tick.

The successful candidate will be able to lead trends, as well as to provide coverage of them.

Requirements
• Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Journalist and Editor working on a woman?¦s focused title or web site
• Passion for fashion, culture, food, style, entertainment and celebrity. Good understanding of news, entertainment and popular culture in general
• Solid knowledge of the principles of writing for the web and editing experience in a dynamic online editorial environment
• University degree or equivalent required
• Thorough understanding of editorial best practices and priorities
• Demonstrable headline writing, image selection and content packaging skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Presentation skills and strong deadline management
• Great team player and relationship-builder
• Language skills: Arabic fluent (written and spoken) and good knowledge of Arabic grammar
• English highly competent
• Flexible to work in various areas and adaptable to fit a constantly moving industry
• Keyboard and computer skills
