multimedia and interactive output. Duties include subbing, copy-tasting, writing and assisting Senior Editors with the overall management of the website’s output. Generation, development and execution of editorial ideas are an essential part of the job that may also involve reporting and writing from the field in close liaison with other Al Jazeera network teams.

An excellent standard of written English with a minimum of five years of experience in international news, preferably in the print or online media is required to perform this job. A Bachelor or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Journalism or a closely related field is advantageous.
