Strategic Planning Director | Viola Communications Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Responsible for strategic planning for the agency clients.
• Prepare strategy, communication plan for brands’ based on inputs from client and partner agencies.
• Develops the marketing / communication strategies.
• Briefs the different departments on the marketing / communication strategy.
• Responsible for strategy presentations to existing / potential clients.
• Identifies the market data sources available in the market and checks for new sources of information on a permanent basis.
• Contribute actively to the formulation and articulation of BD strategy.
• Work and contribute actively to every new pitch.
• Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure compliance to and implementation of organizational policies and procedures in strategic planning department.
• Participate actively in new projects / initiatives that will aid the achievement of organizational strategy as required.
• Give inputs for standardizing and changing formats used by BD if required.
• Ensure that the strategic planning processes are being complied to through periodic monitoring and review.
• Share knowledge, best practices and new development with the heads of the agency department.
• Contribute to creating smooth communication channels across functions.
• Collaborate to make knowledge sharing initiatives successful.
• Act as brand custodian for accounts ‘brands and take ownership for the growth and positioning of the brands.
• Assist in keeping track of proactive initiatives not accepted by the client and incorporate in client review.
• Present research proposals to client to get approval / by-in/ sponsorship as required.
• Give inputs for planning team structure and resources and discuss related issues with LM.

Skills
Graduate degree in business, marketing, or equivalent
2. from 5-7 years experience working in same position within advertising agency.
3. Have very good presentation skills.
4. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
5. Ability to supervise and train employees.
6. Organized, smart, and respect deadlines.
