20 advertising students immersed into agency’s culture as part of Dubai Lynx Academy
Dubai, UAE, 27 February 2013: For the fifth consecutive year, Leo Burnett Dubai is taking the students of the Dubai Lynx Academy under its creative wing. The Academy, in partnership with Dubai Lynx, offers 20 creative students an exclusive educational opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s leading talents.
The students, who are currently studying industry-related courses at MENA universities, will be mentored by Leo Burnett Dubai from March 10-12 2013. During this time they will learn the value of communication, and how it can change and modify human behaviour in line with Leo Burnett’s HumanKind philosophy. They will compete in teams to fulfil a specific brief, and the winners will receive the Leo Burnett HumanKind Award.
“At Leo Burnett, we believe that we are only as good as our people. Through the Dubai Lynx Academy we are mentoring the next generation of communicators, and imparting knowledge that will benefit the future of our industry. More partnerships of this kind are needed in order to develop robust, well-rounded individuals who will lead their generation to creativity that connects people and their behaviour with a brand’s human purpose,” said Raja Trad, CEO, Leo Burnett Group MENA.
Since Leo Burnett Dubai’s association with Dubai Lynx Academy began in 2008, the agency has mentored 80 students from across the region. As a result of their participation, three students have since been hired by Leo Burnett.
