Marketing Assistant – Up to AED 15,000
Our client, a multinational company in Dubai is looking for an experienced marketing professional to join their team. This is a newly created position so you should have the confidence and ability to grow the role and advise the department manager on the best marketing practices.
You will be responsible for:
- Creating a new website with the assistance of the IT department
- Implementing marketing strategies by developing elements essential for company growth
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Prepare and distribute press releases and be the main point of contact for all communication
- Market segmentation to categorize target companies
- Provide logistical support for events and seminars
- Develop media packs
- Execute media campaigns
- Monitor media activity
- Produce marketing collateral
- Procure gifts, merchandise and promotional materials
- Produce reports
This role has the potential to grow and there are opportunities to grow a marketing team in the future.
Requirements
This is an all round hands on role, where you will be involved in all aspects of marketing from basic admin and logistical support to creating marketing strategies and designing the company website.
You must have at least 3 years marketing experience and also UAE experience and have a solid understanding of marketing strategies and principles.
You must be able to work well under pressure, have leadership skills, and be available to travel if required.
You must be able to advise and guide the company with marketing advice and promote best practices. You must be able to work under minimum supervision, be an excellent communicator and be able to deal with all levels of people from advertising agencies to the President of the company.
