The Role:
We are looking for a PR consultant to be responsible for all company public relations and company news including direct marketing. You should have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant industry experience, with some time spent here in the Middle East. With English as a first language, written Arabic skills would be a distinct advantage, although is not a pre-requisite for the job.
You role will include but not be limited to:
Develop and implement a corporate strategy that encompasses all core business sectors.
Liaise with senior management to develop and implement a communications plan.
Develop and maintain a database of media contacts and build relationships.
Creating media and public attention for the company through tools such as press releases, articles, interviews, events, competitions and surveys.
Develop and manage a programme of related media interviews for senior management.
Develop and maintain ‘blog’ content for website.
Develop and maintain ‘Podcasts’ content for website.
Source editorial content for e-newsletter for website
Creating media and public attention and understanding for the organisation through tools such as press releases, articles, interviews, events, stunts, competitions and surveys.
Requirements:
Have excellent writing skills with the ability to grasp key messages and develop them relevantly.
Be eager to work within a team environment and independently on specific assignments
Be a fresh and creative thinker
Possess excellent inter-personal and inter-cultural communication skills
