Goals/Mission:
Realizing the design from specifications, sketches, base design, schematics etc., to engineering drawings – Study the received input data / specification and prepare the configuration / the Engineering / design drawings / software / detailed planning / or any other engineering document after selecting the equipment as per applicable specifications, codes and standards.

- Chief Engineer (CE) – Project Manager (PM) – Project Director (PD) – Senior Project Manager (SPD) – Chief Engineer (CE) – Senior Engineer (SEN) – Technical Specialist (TSP) – Department Manger (DM)
Tasks:
- Responsible for the specification, calculation, and design of relay protection schemes such as feeder, transformer, busbar, OHL, synchronizing and control panels – Participating in design reviews – Preparing and implementing the design in accordance with the contractual standards and as per the base design prepared by the senior engineer – Designing requirements analysis, implementation and integration – Interfacing with the senior design – Responsible for equipments layouts, cable racking system, grounding details, protective relay schemes, and single line diagrams. CT, PT, DC, AC and Grounding Calculations. – Developing wiring diagrams, cables schedules, interface details and list of materials engineer – Preparing of Change Status Reports – Releasing technical purchase orders for various items/services in line with the purchasing procedure – Producing drawings for different systems based on codes and standards.
Skills
Education:
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
Knowledge/Languages:
- Professional Knowledge of PC – Ability to handle different Engineering software’s – Ability to work with drafting tools – Professional Knowledge of Standard windows software such as Excel, Power Point, etc
Experience:
- At least Five years of experience in the design and application of utility protective relaying and control systems – Experience in medium and high voltage substation – Experience in designing different electrical Self motivated that can lead a group of Technical staff systems. – Experience in team work and with different cultures – Minimum 7 years experience in Electrical design works for B.S. Holders.
