Job Description
Landscape Structures, one of the leading commercial playground equipment manufacturers in the world, has designed, manufactured, installed and delighted children with more than 50,000 playgrounds worldwide.
We are currently seeking a Playground Designer to join our team! Our designer’s collaborate with LSI representatives, worldwide, using the latest AutoCad/PlayCad, 3DS Max, and other related software, to create world-class playgrounds for kids and communities globally.
Skills
Fulfills design requests by completing the 2D CAD design, quote, and 3D design all-in-one.
Able to design site plans.
Performs safety checks on design work to ensure compliance with safety and accessibility standards.
Performance meets expectations with little direction while maintaining quality and quantity output.
Communicates to reps and customers in a timely and effective manner.
Creative problem solver
Customer focused – Demonstrates the importance of customer service and the voice of the customer
Good Communicator- Able to convey ideas verbally, written, and graphically
Detail oriented – Ability to focus and follow through
Savvy computer skills
POSITION EXPECTATIONS
QUALIFICATIONS
Two year certificate from college or technical school; or at least 2 years of related experience
Experience with AutoCad, 3DS Max, and similar design software applications
Completion of CPSI Certification within 18 months of employment.
