RIM-BlackBerry chooses Apps2you to join their stand this year during Gitex Technology Week – Dubai

Apps2you (powered by MT2) one of the mobile software development firms in Lebanon & the Middle East, recently became a BlackBerry Select Alliance Member, and were presenting their mobile apps as case studies on the BlackBerry- RIM stand during Gitex Technology Week 2011, in Dubai.

In fact, RIM has privileged the following six BlackBerry Alliance Members to exhibit and show their latest developments on the BlackBerry – RIM stand during Gitex 2011: Asgatech, Zero wirelabs and Service2media from Dubai, Enon Media from Italy, Navtrack from the USA, and apps2you from Lebanon.

In addition to developing that privileged relationship with BlackBerry, apps2youis working on mobile application projects with top media agencies – including Impact BBDO, Grey, Leo Burnett, and Starcom Mediavest.

Naji BouHabib, the Chairman of MT2, the holding company powering Apps2you, said that: “Part of MT2 and apps2you organizational culture is:keeping our units up-to-date with the energy of the ICT sector. That’s why we constanlty invest in the skills and knowledge of our team, noting here that 9 members of apps2you team came and participated in Gitex.”

Mario Hachem, the managing partner of apps2you, added that becoming RIM-BlackBerry Select Alliance Member was not easy, and this achievement was the result of the whole team’s determination and commitment to delivering high standard mobile applications for both enterprises and consumers.

As BlackBerry holds one of the biggest market shares of smartphones in the region, RIM has been encouraging the development of an increasing number of local applications aiming to enhance the user’s experience; apps2you has developed several BlackBerry applications using customized content and features such as push notifications in the Arabic language, to meet the local market needs.

Gitex Technology Week – Dubai took place in the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, from October 9 till the 13th; apps2you was present on RIM-BlackBerry booth situated in Zabeel-Hall ZF1.
