Media Workshop is an established media services company specialising in the development of out-of-home video networks. Not to be confused with traditional TV or digital signage, our media products are somewhere in the middle and add tremendous value to the communication needs of the environments they service. Media Workshop has introduced pioneering media concepts to the Middle East that stand out in quality on an international stage.
The company currently operates two out-of-home networks, one in the tourism industry and the other in prominent free zones in Dubai, and is in the process of launching a third in late 2008.
Our company is seeking a dynamic individual to oversee the advertising sales function of all media products, and to develop their marketing strategies. You will also be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with existing business partners and clients.
Some of the responsibilities are:
1) Developing sales & marketing strategies for media products.
2) Preparing sales & marketing material.
3) Securing new clients as well as servicing existing ones.
4) Building and managing a sales team.
5) Raising awareness of the brands across all relevant industries.
6) Developing practices that educate clients and media buyers on the benefits and uniqueness of out-of-home video networks.
7) Contributing to the ongoing creative and strategic development of existing and new products.
Package: AED 17, 000 + commission + benefits
Skills
Self starter.
Outstanding social skills.
Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
Exceptionally developed communication skills (English and Arabic).
Ability to fit into a fast-paced, teamwork-oriented environment.
Ability to work under extremely tight deadlines.
Work experience in a media buying agency a plus.
Work experience in out-of-home or TV advertising sales a very big plus.
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role in the UAE.
Flexible work schedule.
Car and UAE driving license.
