The Role:
Working within our growing Audio Visual Projects team, you will be responsible for the design and development of sophisticated audio visual solutions. This position is for a highly experienced and talented audio visual professional to assist the AV project sales team and to primarily focus on designing turnkey audiovisual solutions utilising sound design methods, industry best practices and proven industry gained experience.
This is a key role within the company which requires an innovative and creative individual with the ability to properly qualify client’s needs, develop these into sophisticated A/V designs and to turn them into reality within the corporate, boardroom, government, education, hospitality, shopping mall and high end residential A/V environments.
Ideally the right candidate will have gained a variety of experience within the audio visual industry in the areas of design, technical support, hands-on installation, programming and commissioning of AV integration projects.
The role is located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and is open to all nationalities. Ideally the successful candidate would be available for an immediate start.

An attractive salary package will be offered to the successful applicant and the level of your salary will depend upon the match between your experience and the needs of the company. A detailed salary offer will be discussed at interview and will be confirmed with a formal offer of contract. As part of your package it will include the following:

In order to be considered for this position, the successful applicant shall have a minimum of 7 years A/V industry experience with a minimum of 2 years experience within a design role. An excellent understanding of all audio, video, control system and lighting dimming products and how they are integrated will be absolutely essential. You will have high level knowledge when it comes to audio visual, control systems and also be aware of the various video display technologies available on the market and possess the skills to correctly identify the right solution to satisfy client’s requirements.
Skills
To be successful within this position you will need to have strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills with a professional standard of customer service.
If you can demonstrate several of the following skills and experience, we would be interested in hearing from you:
• Experience with any of the industry standard control systems such as Crestron, AMX, Extron & RTI.
• Design and programming knowledge of one or several of the audio DSP products on the market and ideally certified. (eg. Biamp, BSS, MediaMatrix, Symetrix, ClearOne, Rane etc)
• Complete video conferencing technology and product knowledge and how they are integrated within
an audio visual environment
• Working knowledge of all audio, video, control and data signal types and distribution methods
• Good AutoCAD, Y-CAD, StarDraw A/V or D-Tools CAD software skills
• Previous installation, termination and commissioning experience
Non-Essential Criteria:
It would be viewed favorably if the candidate possesses any of the following selection criteria and will further their application, however it is not considered as essential.
• Infocomm CTS, CTS-I or CTS-D certification
• CEDIA Installer or Designer Certification
• Electronics Trade Certificate, Diploma or Engineering Degree
• Audio Engineering qualification such as SAE Institute
• I.T/Networking Diploma or Engineering Degree
• Crestron or AMX programming certification
• Extron IP Link / MediaLink certification
• Biamp, BSS, MediaMatrix, Symetrix, ClearOne or Polycom audio DSP certification
• Polycom or Tandberg Certified Video Conference Engineer certification
• Christie, Projectiondesign, Digital Projection or Barco projector training and installation experience
• Video wall training and installation experience
• EASE 4 or Bose Modeller 6.5 acoustic modelling software experience
• IVIE analyser, Neutrik Minilyzer/Acoustilyzer or SmaartLive analysis software working knowledge and experience
• Arabic language skills
