Sub-Editor / Copy editor | The Peninsula Doha
Working withing a fast paced editorial environment, you will be responsible for editing copy, fact checking, writing outstanding headlines and captions and laying out pages for a broadsheet daily newspaper based in Doha, Qatar.
Requirements
We are looking for sub editors with flair to join our team.
You will have experience working for daily newspapers and the QuarkXpress and Adobe InDesign publishing systems.
You will work across a range of business, sport and general news and features on our acclaimed and groundbreaking daily paper and supplements.
You should be ambitious, have an eye for detail as well as good references.
Work pattern will involve a rota involving late evening work. This is a rare opportunity to join an exciting daily newspaper in the GCC.
