The upcoming TEDx Dubai is different than previous editions, this year you get to choose a community speaker, the organizers of the TEDx are running a talent hunt competition of their Facebook fan page, 16 candidates each with a one-minute elevator pitch are competing for votes from fans. The winner will join Maria Conceicao, Erika Ilves, Anna Stillwell and Illac Diaz at the next TEDx Dubai event, which will be held on the 22nd of October 2011 at the Dubai World Trade Center under the theme “The Beauty of Small Things”.
