The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Review
The Note 8.0 is the latest addition to the Galaxy family, it was launched back in May in the region with a vision to reignite Samsung’s mid-size tablet category. The device looks like an amplified Galaxy S4, it’s pretty much the same design only few inches larger, yet it fits in a hand, at least it fits in mine!

The Galaxy Note 8.0 is an 8″ tablet from Samsung that runs on Android’s Jellybean with a 1.6GHz A9 quad-core processor inside, backed by 2GB of RAM, and a storage of 16/32GB, upgradable to 64GB via a microSD card. The device is loaded with apps like Samsung AllShare, Polaris Office, Flipboard, Paper Artist among others, but what sets the Note apart from other devices is the S Pen.
I was impressed by the S Pen, it’s really smooth and useful, specially if you are into drawing some apps are even built to recognize the pen while hovering over the screen without even touching it. Among the pre-loaded software on the Note 8.0, I liked the S Note and the Paper Artist, these apps work perfectly with the pen as demonstrated in the above video and the picture below.
One of the cool things about the Note 8 is the keyboard options, you can divide it into 2 keyboards or you can have it floating on the screen, this very cool if you want to type using your thumbs.
If you have a smart TV syncing with the tablet will really awesome, I tried it with my TV and it was cool, you can display stuff from your tablet on the TV, think of it as a really fancy remote control.
