Dubai, UAE, 13 October 2013 – Airing for the first time ever on free TV in the region, The Walking Dead’s much-awaited Season 4 premieres on FX on Monday 14 October at 8:00 pm KSA/9:00 am UAE – less than 24 hours after the season’s global debut! The action-filled TV series – which tells the story of human beings living in a post-apocalyptic world riddled with zombies – returns with its deadliest and bloodiest season yet!
This 16-episode season follows Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln) and his band of survivors – who are now living in the safe haven of a prison – as they desperately attempt to hold on to humanity in the face of new evil. However, with blood-thirsty zombies lurking around every corner, the chance of survival becomes increasingly slim.
Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, The Walking Dead is executive produced by Scott M. Gimle, Gale Anne Hurd, Kirkman, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert. To date, the show has garnered an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Prosthetic Make-up, a Golden Globe® Award nomination for Best Television Series – Drama, and a WGA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Writing Derivative New Media, among a plethora of other accolades.
