The 2014 FIFA World Cup is just around the corner, it’s time to be part of it, at least online. Hyundai has opened the floor for football fans around the world to vote for a slogan of their favorite teams, this is a prize-less competition but it makes you feel part of the game, the chosen slogans will appear on the side of each team bus.
This initiative started in October last year, fans were invited to submit slogans for the World Cup teams, more than 160,000 entries were submitted between 16 October 2013 and 27 February 2014, the organizers consolidated these entries to 96 slogans, 3 per team, and now fans get to choose their favorites.
Some of these slogans are actually good, Brazil has 2 cool slogans; “Shift Into The Sixth, Brazil!” and “Brace Yourselves! The 6th is Coming!”. Australis on the other hand got this cool line “We Got This Mates!”.
Some of my other favorites are Chile’s “CHI CHI CHI!, LE LE LE! Go Chile.”, Netherlands’ “Real Men Wear Orange”, and Switzerland’s “We Are Swiss, This is Our Time, 20:14 Precisely.”
Others are mostly One Team, One Dream, One Spirit, One Nation, One Way, One Goal, One Win, On Rhythm… etc.
