The best candidate should do the following:
* Research, design, develop and produce Internet sites.
* Consult with clients to develop and document Web site requirements
* Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
* Develop Web site architecture.
* Source, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Web site.
* Create and optimize content for the Web site using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software
* Plan, design, write, modify, integrate and test Web-site related code
* Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
* May lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Web site graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
* May research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products
The required candidate should have the following:
* A bachelors degree, usually in computer science, while strong web site design and animation

Skills
experience can compensate the computer science degree.
* Web solutions analysis & design skills
* Designing skills using ASP, .NET technologies, C++, Java, PHP, AjAX, XML, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, PERL, Java Scripts, and VB Script, etc.
* Should have knowledge in RDBMS (SQL Server, MYSQL, Oracle and MS Access)
* Extensive knowledge in graphic designing tools like Dream Weaver, Front Page, Fireworks, Corel draw, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Free Hand etc.
* Experience in Flash, Actionscript, ColdFusion
* Experience in graphic design / motion graphics / video / audio / typography
* Optimizing images and the other materials digitally presented for the web
* Testing the site for functionality in different browsers, at different resolutions and in broadband multimedia interactivity
* Creative, dynamic and self motivated.
* Experience in E-Commerce, Payment Gateways, Intranet Applications and CMS based applications
* Proficiency in spoken and written English
In all cases, a strong portfolio and samples of URLs (live and offline) are required.
