Winners of Cutting Edge DSLR Cameras to be Announced on 30 January
Dubai Internet City today announced it has partnered with Canon Middle East to launch the ‘UAE Digital Photo Contest’, offering amateur photographers across the UAE an opportunity to showcase their creative talent.
Themed ‘Celebrations’, the competition invites UAE residents to record special moments and submit their best images before 23 January to win the grand prize.
The winner will receive state-of-the-art Canon EOS 60D, while runner-up prizes include Canon EOS 550D, 500D and 1000D SLR camera. The list of winners will be announced on 30 January.

Eminent photographers reputed for their works locally and globally comprise the competition’s panel of judges. Dubai-based freelance photographer Maha Nasra Edde is a jury member along with Lt Col Jassim Al Awadhi, forensic photographer for Dubai Police, Don Cocksedge, photographer and college teacher, Clint McLean, photographer and photo editor currently curating for The National Magazine in Abu Dhabi, renowned photographer Belinda (Billie) Muller, and Vineet Wadhwa, Product Manager for SLR Category with Canon Middle East.
