- Establish the look and qualities of characters, props and environment for an animation film, from 2D design/storyboard reference into 3D, which aligns with the vision of the Production team or the Chief Art Director – Produce the textures, colors and organic surface qualities required in the completion of creatures and objects. – Troubleshoot creative and technical issues as they arise. – Demonstrate versatility in their ability to create a wide range of surfaced looks from man made, natural to stylized surfaces. – Create surfaced look that aligns with the artistic design/style of film; interpret art reference/art direction. – Creation of 3D models – Work very closely with the texture painters and rigging team to generate models that are suitable for the project. – Work closely with the lead Modeller to determine the best approach (detail level etc) on any given model. Skills – 2 to 5 years production experience preferred – Prior 3D, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite experience Company Profile Moon Productions is a media production entity that was established in 2005.
