Assistant Editor for international book and journal program | Springer Science + Business Media Dubai, UAE
The Role
Supervising, maintaining and expanding our international book and journal program in conjunction with the Senior Editor for Springer Middle East.
You will help in building up and strenghten relationships with the scientific communities espacially in Engineering/Chemistry and/or Medicine. You are also responsible for the follow-up processes and administrative support of Editorial Middel East.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational and negotiating skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Fluent in English and in either Turkish or Farsi
- Minimum of BSc in Engineering/Chemistry or related science
- Ability to work independently
- Be able to work in a small team and understand the need to support team members
- Willingness to travel frequently throughout the Middle East region
- Previous academic publishing experience a plus
