Marketing — By Samer Marzouq on September 16, 2009 at 9:19 pmThe Market Unit (MU) South East Europe and Middle East (SEME) is responsible for developing the SAP business in Greece & Cyprus, Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, New-Palestine, Oman, Sudan, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Yemen and Libya.
The SEME Marketing area provides strong and compelling support for creating and driving best-in-class Marketing in SEME countries. Key responsibilities include execution of programs and activities based on EMEA deliverables and best-practice sharing within SEME countries, as well as strong alignment with the Channel Partner Sales.
Tasks and Responsibilities
As Campaign Execution Manager you will be responsible for:
•Executing multi-tiered demand generation, lead nurturing, pipeline building and sales acceleration marketing activities
•Refining and adapting them to local requirements and needs, by accessing existing repositories of regional demand generation campaigns
•Delivering the committed campaign results in compliance to the planned timelines and to the assigned budget and resources
•Communicating objectives, expectations, deadlines, assignments and status to all internal stakeholders
•Implementing corrective actions within the campaign plan, where appropriate, to reflect changed conditions or shifts in priorities
Accountabilities
•Develops and adapts to local requirements the campaigns assets, and briefs creative agencies and delivery partners, as per campaign plan
•Briefs will include creative production, telemarketing, data and web production and will specify target audience, budget, timescales, targets, key message, call to action and brand guidelines
•Measures success of executed campaigns with reference to agreed-upon performance indicators, and communicates outcomes to stakeholders
Interaction
•Shares in-depth marketing knowledge and experience with the field team both locally and in the Market Unit to enable decision-making and provides innovative approaches to support business requirements
•Is comfortable with extending his networking to Regional/EMEA and Global resources, for instance for guidance on execution of specific campaigns or programs, best practice sharing, advise on adoption and local adaptation
Requirements
•Bachelor/Master degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required
•Understands the local market and its business drivers, and is familiar with the value selling approach
•3 – 6 years experience in Marketing (experience in IT Volume/Retail Business will be an advantage)
•Excellent communication / negotiation / presentation skills
•Has strong functional skills
•Familiarity with GCC market’s response to different marketing tactics
•Ability to think and act comprehensively and innovative
•Motivation to work and act independently, but must work and cooperate in internal and external virtual teams
•Team working competencies
•Ability and willingness to travel
•Fluent in English, Arabic knowledge appreciated
