Entertainment Manager | Abu Dhabi, UAE

Our client has the end-to-end responsibility of developing and managing an upcoming tournament, which will continue to position the city of Abu Dhabi as one of the world’s most exciting international sports destinations and promote sports tourism to the region.

• Supporting the Operations team in the execution of all entertainment-related Tournament operations, including:
- Managing the LOC selected agency for the Opening & Closing Ceremonies of the tournament.
- Coordinating all other relevant event operations surrounding the Opening and Closing Ceremonies including but not limited to: security, accreditation and safety.
- Support to the Operations Director and Manager in any other event entertainment areas.
- Assisting all VVIP / VIP / protocol elements relating to the Banquet Dinner and Opening and Closing ceremonies, including local and tournament dignitaries.

• Assisting the in-house team to implement the above activities
• Coordinating with third party contractors to deliver a seamless and successful Tournament
• Managing timelines and internal budget/PO requests

Requirements
• Knowledge of football and its viewers
• Knowledge of large events (preferably entertainment based)
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Agency account management experience preferred
• A good knowledge of English
• Flexible
