EMAAR District Cooling Plant is a milestone in the future endeavors of Emaar’s Utility Business. The vast development foreseen a single engineering which can sustain the volatile market out of the revenue generation.

The Plant Operator reports to the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor.

The job holder keeps the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor informed of ongoing activities, developments and potential problems on a regular but informal basis.

Key Responsiblities:

1) To Operate & Monitor large tonnage centrifugal liquid chillers & HVAC equipments at the Emaar District Cooling Plant

2)Execute the preventive maintenance tasks within the stipulated timeframe.

3) Perform all the corrective maintenance job requests within the prescribed timeframe.

4) Check & Report troubles & unusual events at the EDC plants in order to avoid any possible break downs.

5) To be a crew member on emergencies in the event of fire or flood and to perform the stipulated role assigned.

6) To be worked in tandem with the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor & the EDC plant maintenance team members so as to attain the targeted goals.

7) To be committed with contributing cost effective measures so as to reduce the operational expenditure to be minimal.

8) To assist & guide all the external contractors whenever required.

9) To prepare & keep all the related log books & reports including the daily utilities & consumptions.

10) To make sure that the EDC plant rooms are clean & tidy always.
