TV Director | S. S. Lootah Dubai, UAE

The main purpose is supporting the TV channel manager in managing and delivering specific tasks, also take overall responsibility for the presented TV programs.

Essential functions of the job include:
-Interpreting and reviewing the script
-scriptwriter of some feature TV programs
­-Artistic vision that will guide the work team
­-Define the suitable locations, hire the cast
­- Design the sets and lighting, and finally edit
­- Dubbing the finished recording.
- Developing storyboards;
- Directing actors and other staff.
- Managing technical details, such as camera shots and the use of l-ighting
­- liaising with the producer at certain stages, for example, when editing the final ‘cut’
­- Managing the work of the other production staff and delegating tasks accordingly to realise the final production.
- Working with the team to prioritize and rationalize the requirements for projects
-­ Supporting the creation and establishment of the various TV channel functions
-Training activities
-­ Management of initiation, planning, execution, controlling and monitoring the direction process.

Key Performance Indicators:
- Should have good experience, examples, relationship at TV direction
- Backgrounds (production, camera, editing)
- Excellent leadership and team player skills
- Have the knowledge about the costumers

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor / Diploma Degree in TV/ move/ film direction or equivalent certificate
- 5 years experience in related field at least
- Effective oral and written communication skills (English and Arabic language preferred)
- Effective team leader
- Good knowledge in: final pro, 3D max, final Cut, lighting, and sound systems equipments and software.
