At ITP Business, the Middle East’s leading trade publisher, we are looking for a young and highly enthusiastic candidate to work on our first forthcoming business-to-business web portal.

The candidate will sit alongside our digital design team, working with these web designers and developers in addition to our teams of journalists and sales managers.

The role itself will involve uploading and editing our industry-leading editorial content, through using web-based content management systems, as well as carefully researching, tailoring and inputting essential industry information (from online and offline sources).

After in-depth training on our content management system and the industry portal in question, our successful candidate’s daily tasks will consist of:

1. Inputting and reconfiguring web content, on a daily basis;

2. Maintaining hyperlinks to active content;

3. Graphic resizing, editing and cropping tasks;

4. Online and offline industry research (project details, tenders, material prices etc.);

5. Brainstorming of new content and presentation ideas.

Candidate requirements

1. PC/internet savvy (you will ideally have content management experience, but this is not essential);

2. Excellent attention to detail (able to spot small alignment errors and grammatical ‘typos’ from fifty feet);

3. Excellent time management skills;

4. Professional-level understanding of written English (UK);

5. Candidates with an interest in construction and related industries preferred.
