Meet BG, the world’s first live tweeting Honey Badger! To build Johannesburg Zoo presence on twitter with zero budget, the zoo hired a new social media manager from within, a honey badger!
The idea was to install sensors in the badger’s cage, these sensors trigger ore-written tweets based on the location of the sensor inside the cage, these tweets included selfies, comments about visitors and neighboring animals… and so on. In less than a month, the twitter account attracted close to 9000 follower, such a great idea.
