The Role

PR Executive – Beauty Division up to AED 14,000 for the right candidate. Arabic speaker and writer – Dubai

Our client is one of the founding pillars of the luxury world and has created a brand that stands out from the rest. They have a strong presence in the beauty, fashion and accessories segments of the market. The UAE office manages the GCC and Middle East territory and they are currently looking for a PR Executive to help support the PR Manager within the Beauty division.

Your overall objective will be to develop the appropriate visibility of the beauty brand with all medias throughout the Middle East in order to enhance the brand’s creativity, luxury and uniqueness. Press relations will be a critical part of your role. Organising press trips, preparing local shootings to develop qualitative visibility, briefing them about new launches and new collections will all be included under your responsibilities. As the PR Manager will outline the overall plan, you may be given smaller projects within the plan in terms of PR tracking for the region, competitive analysis, assisting with large product launches. You will need to look after the small details such as collecting all of the expenses and ensuring accounts are up to date and within budget. You will have to write small PR articles in both English and Arabic. You must ensure that all press packs are complete and as per the brand guidelines.

Requirements

This is a very challenging role for someone who is passionate about PR, about the luxury business and who wants to learn new skills. This is not a senior level role; you will be part of a team and expected to do the base work. Ideally you should have 3 years experience in PR, working with large luxury clients, with extensive exposure to the media. All candidates must be fluent in English and Arabic, both written and verbal. As you will be working with and representing one of the leading luxury brands, you must be immaculately groomed with superb presentation skills. As with all PR roles, flexibility in working hours is a must. You must have an excellent eye for detail and strong organisational skills as you will have a large range of projects all happening at the same time in different places.
