Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI) is looking for a Senior Scientist/Engineer to lead a group of scientists under the supervision of the Energy Principle Investigator to develop a Cogeneration pilot project, based on Concentrated Solar Power (parabolic trough), for electricity generation and water desalination.
Skills
– PhD or equivalent experience in solar energy field
– A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Concentrated Solar Power, preferably in parabolic trough
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge in Arabic would be a plus
– Demonstrated strong leadership skills
– Proved record of successful participation/ leadership in at least one the CSP projects in Europe or elsewhere
– Ready to travel
