The Role


* Set up a robust reporting structure for the Consumer Business Unit.* Responsible for data querying, extraction, compilation, analysis and reporting.* Consolidate and enhance the suite of executive management reports.* Compiling management reports to give insight in to the business on performance, like product / services profitability, percentage of voice and data shares, SMS development and new services uptake, report areas of variances, and recommend corrective measures for implementation. * Produce a monthly performance report based on Revenue, Customer Numbers, Penetration and other major KPI’s for the consumer BU including monthly update on Product performance.* Daily Dash board reporting covering key areas in various products pointing out areas of concerns for the BU management to take appropriate action.* Derive business intelligence from internal & external data sources. Propose management / process solutions for data analysis for content, consistency, intelligence to maximize display and data quality assurance.* Lead follow up analysis requests and work with internal partners to improve reporting data quality.* Continuously identify and address Business issues by providing integrated business insights; identify and fill knowledge gaps.* Continuously identify and integrate Customer trends into knowledge base; develop foresight. Support marketing team to implement tailored campaign for each segment based on customer information.* Tracking performance of various Customer segments and profitability; translate it into management useful information.* Document process flows, identify and analyze data from different sources to create holistic reports.* Automation of reports by linking the same with the Data Warehouse & IT systems* Support standard reporting, adhoc analysis requests, and self initiated data mining and querying* Provide analysis on customer base* Manage, update and manipulate reporting structures using Excel functions such as Pivot Table, V lookups and SQL and business objects.* Competitive Analysis – Continuous assessment and analysis of Competition product’s; bench marking them against Qtel’s products, to enable Qtel maintain a competitive edge in the market. Team working, Coaching/Development & Leadership (Coaching & Leadership applicable to people managers) The role holder is responsible in ensuring all cross-functional teams across the wide business understand their part in a project plan and through constant planning highlight the benefits of streamlining a process to ensure a more efficient Plan. Communicating, negotiating & influencing The role-holder is responsible for the following types of communication:* Progress reports to Manager Business Planning & Pricing & to the BU management* Output in the form of progress reports to the Marketing Department.* The role holder has to influence key parties such as Marketing / Engineering as for the various job needs. Requirements


8 years experience working in a large organization of which least 5 years experience in a reporting and setting KPI and managing targets.Bachelor degree In Marketing or relevant.
