Global Communications Manager | Doha, Qatar

Develop, maintain and promote all aspects of company corporate image internationally and in Qatar via conference, exhibitions, events, publications and the media, speeches and presentations. Work closely with the CEO and the executive team in the management of relationships at an industry and governmental level inside and outside Qatar.

• Develop and promote the desired corporate image for company.
• Manage and coordinate with strategic business development team, government ministries, embassies, national and international companies and organizations for VIP events, such as official signing ceremonies, conferences, government level visits to Qatar and to overseas locations where company has a presence
• Plan and execute PR events such as conferences and exhibitions
• Build and maintain successful internal networking globally and across the country to leverage local angles, stories and opportunities. Serve as company spokesperson on occasion
• Provide counsel to senior executives on messaging and media relations, host media interviews
• Develop and / or provide corporate PR publications, printed materials, media coverage, promotions and press releases
• Monitor and ensure compliance of all electronic and hard-copy media to company corporate standards and protocols
• Publicize high profile media coverage on company website and maintain the PR site on company intranet
• Assist in managing external PR agency activities for exhibitions and other corporate activities.
