Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Attend sports events and provide editorial covers for the same
* Prepare editorial material for an Arabic sports magazine
* Conduct interviews with sports celebrities and maintain good relationships with sports society locally and regionally
* Coordinate with PR agencies for press releases and sports related news
* Translate articles, press releases & interviews from Arabic to English & vice versa
* Help the creative team select designs & photos that supports the editorial material of the magazine
* Come with innovative & creative ideas to enhance the magazine’s reach and market position
Skills
Requirements:
* Degree in Journalism
* 1 to 3 years of experience in sports writing
* Good knowledge of different sports
* Sound connections with PR agencies
* Very good Arabic & English language skills
* Previous experience in magazines or newspapers
P.S. Fresh AUD & AUS Journalism graduates with good Arabic & English language skills with interest in sports journalism are encouraged to apply.
Salary : AED 6,000/- to 10,000/- depending on experience.
