The Architect will analyze the client’s goals by conceiving and developing architectural solutions to those goals. Initiates and creates schematic designs and plans with responsibility for the preparation of presentation drawings, models and narratives. Provides coordination of all disciplines related to the design.
Minimum of 10 years related design experience and/or in an architectural office working on all project phases.
Must have understanding of developing and assembling facilities design drawings and specifications.
Must have a good understanding of construction methods and costs.
Experience performing designs on correctional facilities.
Skills
Experience with 3D Max environments a plus, strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Micro-station, ArchiCad, Photoshop
Additional programs and software helpful are Photoshop, Sketch up, Microsoft Windows
