Yesterday MBC released the first episod of “Classified“, an online mini-series that was created in partnership with Emirati Film Director and Producer Ali Mostafa, the writer, co-producer and director of ‘City of Life’. The show premieres on MBC.net at 9pm KSA time, which is a bit classical TV mentality, I mean it’s online, it doesn’t have to be the prime time! Read more about Classified.
The quintuple series revolves around Adam, a 27-year old Egyptian guy who lives in Dubai, at one night he receives a mysterious phone call from a guy that warns him from some bad guys who are looking for him at the club, this scene reminded me with the first part of the Matrix, when Morpheus starts leading Neo out of his office.
The story starts to unfold as the guy, who claims to be the partner of Adam’s late father, tells Adam that the car accident that killed his parents was planned, and that his mother is still alive, he also tells Adam that his father has invented some kind of a device, which he hid before he died, Adam is the only one who can find it. At the end of the episode, Adam calls his best and most trusted friend Badr to tell him, but can Adam really trust Badr?
