The Role
Events Manager – Retail
AED 22-24K + benefits + bonus + company discount scheme.
Leading UAE based retail brand group are looking for an experienced Events Manager to join their team. Main duties will include:
•Develop concepts for events, manage them, identify effective brand associations through sponsorships and leverage the participation through channels aimed at maximising PR mileage.
•Coordinate with clients and suppliers on specific requirements / details of the event being organised to ensure that the programme/event meets the needs and specifications of the client and is within budget.
•Identify a suitable venue for the events and arrange for all the required materials, including invitations, food and entertainment, for effective brand presentation.
•Visit the site of the sponsorship programme or event, arrange for necessary display materials and supervise their display at appropriate places to ensure maximum publicity and exposure to the client’s product / brand / service
•Ensure that all elements pertaining to each event are successfully completed within set timelines and budgets.
•Identify relevant sponsorship opportunities and brand associations in line with brand identity and requirements and leverage the participation through channels aimed at maximising mileage.
•Monitor continuously all the details of organising the event to ensure Group standards are maintained throughout and the image of the brand/product/company is enhanced.
•Prepare and submit reports periodically, both to the client, Group Events Manager and VP Events, to monitor the costs incurred per programme / event vis-à-vis its benefits.
•Guide, train and develop subordinate to work to his/her best potential
RequirementsYou must have Middle East Events experience within the Retail arena, ideally withinluxury but retail is a definite must. The ideal candidate will also be: 1) Graduate in any arts discipline with tertiary qualification in Marketing / PR 2) Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills 3) Highly organised, with an eye for detail 4) Exposure to multicultural working environment 5) 5-7years experience in the field. |
