This role requires a unique, self-assured Arab who has excellent experience in regional creatives in advertising, branding and marketing, with extensive writing experience and an equal amount of experience television.

You’ll have vast experience in dealing with regional companies, both client and agency side.

Arabic will be your first language but your English must be perfect – spoken, written and reading.

It is vital that you have mixed experience of print and television, both are equally essential and without a good mix of both you will not be considered for this role.

A vastly important factor is that you must have regional knowledge of the markets, current affairs, local issues and how to deal with clients and agencies in Saudi and Egypt. This role requires you to deal with people in both those countries and to manage the accounts, keep them happy, ensure the channels of communication are wide open so you can address every issue before it becomes a real problem. You will need to be able to demonstrate your ability to motivate people from different regions, as well communicate very effectively with them.

This is a key position within the agency so the right hire is absolutely essential, which means finding the perfect personality. My client requires someone with good poise, the ability to use humour to keep the client happy, the vision to know when to use humour and when not to, and the local knowledge of what will be considered humorous and what will not. You will have amazing account management skills, you will be a light hearted professional!

The target audience for these FMCG accounts will be young Egyptians and Saudis primarily, so a cultural understanding is a must, knowing how to get in with that audience is key.

Salary up to AED40k.
