Communications Officer | Abu Dhabi Ports Company Abu Dhabi, UAE

Under the supervision of the Communications and Media Unit Manager, implements events for all levels of the business working with business units to deliver their programs of activity.

Keys
· Managing and maintaining the ADPC events calendar
· Implementation of events in the approved events calendar
· Work with vendors to ensure implementation of approved events
· Originate event checklists and planning tools for use in delivery of events
· Working across the company to deliver unscheduled events as required
· Briefing management and employees on the details of events inclusive of conferences and exhibitions
· Organizing ADPC representation trade shows and other venues as directed by management

Performance Indicators
· Creation of events calendar
· Maintenance of events calendar
· Creation and implementation of event planning tools
· Number of events in which ADPC participates
· Creation of customer satisfaction feedback mechanisms

Competences
· IT literate; database management skills
· Event management experience of delivering events in local, regional and international markets
· Detailed organizational and planning behaviours
· Proven organizational skills and delivery of events for previous employers.
· Strong writing skills.
· Good interpersonal and communications skills with cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse communities.
· Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
